Recent Ideas: God and Gender
The forms of God are
defined by their internal traits and their relationships to one another as well
as creation. There are no real genders, but one can take the traits of an ideal
father, mother, son or daughter, and use such distinctions to name the different
forms of Deity. On High, the Second Source and Center is frequently referred to
as the Mother Son, for instance. When giving names to the parts of God, these
names should describe the parts and the value therein. All in all, God doesn't
care what people call Him, as long as they call on Him. In reality, God is more
of an "it", but "he/she" is used as a form of respect or a way to foster familiarity through language. "It" just seems a bit distant.
